Ceasefire Doors are manufactured in a facility accredited by BM TRADA which can be supplied This independent accreditation guarantees that our manufacturing processes and products meet the stringent quality and safety standards set by the industry. It provides assurance that our Ceasefire Doors are consistently produced to the highest levels of performance and compliance with relevant fire safety regulations.

Undergoing rigorous testing, with over 70 burn tests conducted to date. These tests evaluate the doors’ ability to withstand fire and smoke for extended periods, ensuring they meet or exceed the requirements of either FD30 and or FD60. This extensive testing demonstrates our commitment to providing fire doors that offer superior protection and peace of mind.

PBSA in Newcastle

Consisting of 7 student blocks and 445 bedrooms, as well as shared facilities including a laundry room, study room and cinema.  

Global assisted the PBSA provider, by using the collaborative expertise and experience of our team, with:

  • Firefly system and upgraded AFDs  

          Gateshead Council — 25 buildings completed

          Global were asked to review the Fire Risk Appraisals for a total of 25 sites within Gateshead. The FRAEWS needed to be reviewed in accordance with PAS9980, the appraisal for the fire performance of walls, to mitigate risks. 

          Fire engineers completed reports on all 25 buildings and supported the process to obtain third-party approval, thereby mitigating risks. 

          Edinburgh Napier University

          Edinburgh Napier University appointed Global to carry out a preliminary passive fire survey to assess the fire compartmentation of the primary means of escape and to identify any subsequent remedial works required.  

          • Project duration was estimated at 12 months, completed in 8.
          • Recovered a 3-week client delay with no additional costs added.
          • Provided a report for the property, documenting the breaches found within the compartmentation that compromised the passive fire protection.
